i realized that a handful of ppl were actually following my blog and found it to be interesting... (*grinning hiak hiak) so here i am! "entertaining" you guys and polishing my writing skill as well =.=||
before i start rolling the ball.. i have to apologize... I'VE TRIED TO TELL MYSELF TO WRITE IN MANDARIN! BUT..... THE FIRST SENTENCE AUTOMATICALLY PUTTING THEMSELVES INTO THIS ROMAN LETTERS! (should start banging my head against the wall aaaaaaaaa)
For study,
The year 2011! The year when i reaches my uni's culmination period. Somehow, i've started to cultivate enormous affection towards what i'm learning this semester.. especially Data Comm, as this course actually conflating networking techniques and knowledge that closely encompasses themselves in our daily life. (and i started to enjoy learning japanese ^^)
(FYI, yesterday's lab session was cool~ we did our own CAT5 cable and fixing them between a notebook and desktop to actually create a file sharing network without internet.. we even gotten the reward of taking that CAT5 cable back home hehe, first time a lab session that actually sends out gifts!)
But!! As the proverb says, "every coin has two sides"
A coin has a bad side, and a good side.... the bad side is ... we're cutting our throat deeper into the extremely difficult subject.. EMT! Totally devastating one! IT'S ADDED A PREFIX.. "ADVANCED EMT".. sorry bout the fact that i've failed to hinder the intention to antagonize this "advanced" subject that's set upon its destiny to pulverize my confidence.

Jogging at botanical garden here has become a ritual of my housemates (particularly ivan and desmond ). It's very refreshing to put a few steps (ALOT) in the woods and breathing in the succulent air makes you feel alive! (not to mention the ancient story that in which i have to cede to my lackluster in directions that subdued me to have lost in this very SMALL 'jungle'...)
O ya.. a thing that's worthy to mention here....
Last night me and my housemates did something crazy again! We went to the nearest hypermarket to buy ngar kur and have prepared the traditional CNY delicacy ~
DON'T ASK ME WHAT IS NGAR KU.. IF YOU POSSESS THIS THOUGHT.. LET ME SHOW YOU
shame to say ..... that was my first encounter to this onion shaped creature (because it seems to be ubiquitous here).. haha
It's quite a warm occasion when we were doing this together in full force, booming CNY songs in our family hall.. an event which one of the housemates intended to vent his vengeance towards the dog of our neighbour that in a daily routine.. "an undesired morning call" for him.
The house was enveloped in laughter, warmth and joy. Perhaps the joyous moment in 2011 so far. To ensure the best quality of our fried ngar kur as well as our credibility, we have to give the best our of the best to our friends and left behind just a small portion for ourselves.
Every piece of this chip is nurtured with our love and passion, so do let every piece of them melt in your mouth and savor its flavor gratefully~ (to those whom probably eating it now) haha
ah.. a spate of desire drives me to get back to my korean drama for the cute actresses casting inside d! hehe.. adios!

Well... After strings of days with ultimate indulgences of entertainment with friends and family, today i have decided to confined myself like the ancient style of kungfu meditation! 闭馆练武 haha
This holiday has made me realize that this world has too many things to explore and too much anonymity in life ones has to discern. I have found the old me with a new passion, casual photography~! ^^
Photography is so enjoyable when you are en-capsuling those joyful moments and beautiful scenery through the creation of the majestic sensors you have in the camera haha... i want 60D T_T
Have bought a new lens (50mm f/1.8), tripod and shuttle release though~ HEHE
I will say, "buy lens only after you have found the limitations you have in your existing lenses!!"
*Some crappy guy(s) bought lenses with hectic price tag even before they can compose a nice picture from their kit lens!*
I hate people who likes to show off and pretending themselves to be a saint in fact they're no better than a street walker.. everyone is hitching a ride on the same learning train, i don't see a need to be boastful and a room of ultimate egoism.... PUI.....
I feel so pleased to have a mother who has always been supportive to me... (today is about financial backbone.. hahaha... she favors me in taking photography as hobby rather than other sinful activities like clubbing or drinking)
Well... as usual... Penang is definitely a big NO to study at the ages being a university students..
haha.... Penang has lost its position as the fortress of education in my life.. instead it is slowly transforming itself into the island of entertainment! hahaha
While "reviewing" and "studying" what i should do in this holiday.. *sighing cause did zero progress in academic related assignments*
I found videos that we recorded during tech com presentation rehearsal we had.. haha...
REHEARSAL! That's y there's no projector screen and an appropriate stand of audiences..
One of the least prepared presentation i have had.. haha.. i remember i was the only one who came back from Penang at the morning of the presentation day.. Words just couldn't come into my mind after a long ride traveling from Penang to Malacca... You can judge by yourself my level of preparedness based on some description i put upon in paragraphs below :p.. but after some polishing efforts, ended up one of the best presentation in uni life ^^

Since last year, we have been in talks about heritage walk (embedded photography trip..haha)...
Now, it has become life that tomorrow is the first day i'm going for a walk down town at Georgetown to capture the inheritance of the vibrant life in the antique man-made buildings~
This is surely a valuable experience as i will be going with a bunch of "veteran" photographers haha... can't wait for the light-trail photography trip with them too~ Life is so much pleasing and relax here~ ^^

I took those shots when i was having family dinner at feringghi beach hotel..
Was stalking that baby by my camera for sometime.. haha....
see the bonding between mother and baby... see the shape of their mouth in three of the consecutive shots :-P.. it's so natural
and an influence by a friend who convinced me to write about baby =.=||
well... actually i do like babies~ just that i do not dare to put my hands on ppl's baby because they seem to be fragile, yet... so adorable~
I do feel that giving birth is part of the process in life, it's not a selfish act just to compromise for the desire to own something "cute" =.=||
It is the responsibility towards a new life that enters the universe, it is unassailable that his/her well being is defining the family that we are building..
Should i say he/she is also the product of love between partner? Hehe... i do think so~ marriage will be difficult without something acting as a bond..
If i have a baby, i will surely nourish him/her with undivided love just like what an ordinary parents will do...
A well mapped future to become a well being person that is capable to contribute to the society is again undeniable~
I will make him/her to enjoy the sky of penang! I missed out most of the time in my life to witness the beauty of the sky here. The texture especially during sunset / sunrise is majestic....
Only after i learnt bout photography that i started to look up into the sky.. to find how wonderful the sky of penang is in its own way~~ ^^

Baby is cute~!
Ever since my sis wedding, mum and dad kinde misses life living with her and has a few times stressed on me to find her replacement in the family, to fill the hole she left behind. So desperate to get another "daughter" huh... haha... I know that "she" will surely be spoilt by my mum based on my trustworthy :-p... she's definitely believing in my taste HAHA..

Just now when we were heading out for a dinner, mum saw lanterns signifying the coming of mid-autumn festival...
She then said "how i wish to have a grand-son/grand-daughter now to bring them to buy lantern.. you all so old d... not cute anymore, don't want lantern d... hng"
haha... she's kinde cute in the way she addressed this...
still long time to go mum!!!! -_-
well... fate is all that matters. Sometimes, things are hard to come together if they do not belong together, i can only say... just walk by the path written by fate~ ^^

The story starts from Promenade Night '10
The promenade night this year was majestic~
I felt proud for the batch of juniors that we interviewed and handpicked haha.. (>.< missing out the "plucking" session though.. forgotten what was the reason :P)
These are the people who can make extraordinary out from ordinary~
(argh.... suddenly too much things striking its way into my mind~~ bt i wouldn't allow myself to write that long~ >.<)
After that, went to the beach~ (just like last year)
well... thought can take some beautiful photographs.. but, the lighting condition wasn't conducive enough to take picture.
Ended up with some disappointing products sigh....
but it's the moment to spend with friends and to hearing their joyful laughter that lifted the soul. :-p
I might not be particularly good in joking, but nevertheless, friends' smile is the one of the greatest gifts to me. :p
THEN!!! Contacts with beach's sands is something inevitable.
I guess~ my hand was contaminated before i ate the McNuggets which then causing me to vomit 9 (+1) times + diarrhea 8 times!!! 
Special thanks to future doctors, Dr. Loh and Dr. Wong in providing me with medical consultation assistance 24 x 7. LOL...
especially Dr. Wong for putting extra attention to my case which he found out to be gastroenteritis in his text....
The curtain is about to fall, signifying the end of the first half of my new semester, time flies~~ Mid-term tests are about to call an end, it's time to call upon assignments =.=
(Highlight of Mr Ivan Chiow: excessive study for midterm test causing him to have sleeping disorder... intended to take sleeping pill!!! OMG!!!! He's mad!!!!)

As reports, assignments, tests and quizzes started to surge their way into my life here, i found myself almost-fully occupied by them. Somehow, i manages to squeezed some valuable time out of the frame that i was set into to read the book "Guide to Investing" by.... Robert Kiyosaki again...
Today, I read the part of the first of the five phases that he was taught on how to get rich by his rich dad.....
The book introduces the cashflow quadrant, a conceptual tool that defines the cash generating path of ones can choose....
They are all about the mentality that ones possessed that ultimately paving his/her path into one of the quadrants..
Here're the quadrants:
E: Employee — Working for someone else.
S: Self employed— Where a person owns his own job and is his own boss.
B: Business owner — Where a person owns a business to make money.
I: Investor— Investing money in order to receive a larger payout in the future.
My "middle-class" dad has chosen the path Self-employed where profession and security plays an identical portion of play.
Me myself, i believe, if i did not read this book, i might just follow the path being an E, employee, which security comes first before comfortable and wealth.
There're three major options that one have to prioritize:
1) to be secure
2) to be comfortable
3) to be rich
Three of them are so different at the core inside it that defines ones' characteristics.
The author often used the 90/10 rule to define the path he has chosen.
well... there're both happy and unhappy moments when you're poor or rich...
but there's one thing that i am sure,
unhappier moments when you're poor are much more painful than those when you're rich..
I just wanted to jot down what i've read today that i felt quite interesting haha....
At last, believe in the world of abundances! the world of too much money!
A conceptual intersection with The Secret that i found after discussing bout that with Kelvin.. :-P
